Dervenochoria(pl.), joined in one single municipality at 1999 (since 2010 are annexed to the new municipality of Tanagra), dominate the area of western Parnitha. Among the important monuments of this area are the archaeological site of Panakton and the Byzantine monastery of Zoodochos Pigi at Dervenosalesi.
