Corinna (Korinna, Κόριννα), lyric female poet, from Tanagra in Boeotia. Other places, including Thebes, Thespiae, and Corinth, have been proposed by ancient and Byzantine writers (Suda) as her native town. There is a dispute in relation to her dating. Only some fragments of her work survive.
