ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ
A total of sixty five Neolithic settlements have been identified in the modern prefecture of Boeotia, forty three out of which have been confirmed, and twenty two are considered probable. Out of the forty three datable settlements, sixteen belong to the Early Neolithic, fifteen to the Middle Neolithic and thirty six to the Late and Final Neolithic period. The number, as well as the geographical distribution of these sites, suggests that the entire area of Boeotia was rather densely populated. |
